Join us as we explore the Revillagigedo Archipelago, one of the most extraordinary diving destinations on the planet. During this expedition, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a unique ecosystem inhabited by giant manta rays, sharks, dolphins, and an incredible diversity of marine life.

In addition to being an unforgettable diving experience, this trip incorporates a scientific and documentary component that allows participants to experience firsthand the work of marine research in one of the world's most important national parks. Throughout the expedition, scientists and documentary filmmakers will share their expertise through exclusive talks, offering a unique perspective on the conservation and research projects that Mares de México carries out in the area.

This makes this trip a truly unique experience: you don't just visit Revillagigedo, you understand it from within, accompanied by those who work every day to study and protect it.

What makes this expedition unique?

- You will be part of a scientific expedition to find one of the biggest enigmas surrounding the giant oceanic manta ray: where they give birth.

- Special talk on the giant manta ray species and its conservation status.

- Special talk about Mexico's seas and the efforts being made to conserve our oceans.

- Photography and video workshop for documentary film.

- You will be part of the production of a documentary about Revillagigedo National Park and will appear in the credits as a collaborator.
- Your participation will help fund conservation projects in Mexico.

ABOUT THE SHIP

The Adventure is a liveaboard designed for open water diving expeditions, equipped for long journeys and multiple dives in Revillagigedo.

It is certified by the Mexican Coast Guard, has full safety equipment and electronic navigation systems. Air and nitrox tanks can be carried on board.

Itinerary

Day 1 Boarding in Cabo San Lucas (Pier #4). Departure at 10:00 a.m. Day 2 Arrival at San Benedicto Island (12:00 p.m.). 2–3 dives at Anchorage and Canyon. Day 3 4 dives at Boiler (San Benedicto). Day 4 4 dives at Canyon, Lava Flow, and 3 Hermanos. Departure for Roca Partida. Day 5 Arrival at Roca Partida. 3–4 dives. Departure for Socorro Island. Day 6 Arrival at Socorro Island. 3 dives at O’Neil Rock and Punta Tosca. Marine inspection. Day 7 4 dives at Cape Pearce. Departure for San Benedicto. Day 8 2 canyon dives. Departure for Cabo San Lucas at midday. Day 9 Arrival in Cabo in the afternoon. Disembarkation.

Wildlife that we will be able to observe

  • Giant oceanic manta rays (Mobula birostris)

  • Hammerhead shark

  • Galapagos shark

  • Silvertip shark

  • Silky shark

  • Tiger shark (occasional)

  • Dolphins

  • Tuna

  • Schools of horse mackerel

  • Sea turtles

Sightings depend on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed.

In order to be able to dive during the expedition:

  • Diving insurance (DAN or equivalent)

  • Diving computer

  • Signaling Buoy (SMB)

  • Signed letter of responsibility

  • Advanced or higher certification

 

Important:

It is mandatory to present proof of certification and diving insurance.
Without these documents, diving will not be allowed (no exceptions).

 

  • Nitrox Certification (optional)
